Evidence shows that philanthropic activities can improve mental health and increase overall life satisfaction. During ProSphere meetings, you will be randomly paired with another attendee for short 5-minute break-outs. We will provide you a prompt to discuss, and you’re also encouraged to let the conversation unfold naturally. There are 2-3 Community Connections at each gathering, intended to help build relationships among members.

Studies indicate that friendly rivalry not only sharpens your skills but also boosts job satisfaction and engagement. These short (less than 5 minute) presentations are led by members of the community (see below for more on Roles you can play with Village ProSphere). The Grounding is a moment of connection to breath and body, very helpful to easy anxieties and prepare for our time together. The Acknowledgement is an opportunity to reflect on an important issue related to mental or physical health, injustices, or causes important to members.

Research from Deloitte suggests that companies with strong volunteering programs have higher employee morale. We collect ideas for discussion topics from everyone in attendance, then break into smaller groups around each topic for deeper conversations. Topics can be anything, ranging from new game release discussions and ideas for shopping, to perspectives on AI and concerns about the environment. Whatever you’d like to discuss with others, and hear other perspectives on, bring it to Village ProSphere for an Open Space Conversation!

It’s proven that hobbies that positively impact others can increase  personal fulfilment and reduce stress levels. Throughout the gathering you’ll experience other fun moments of connection, from meeting new members and visitors, to taking a group photo. During our Share-Backs, we’ll hear short summaries of the Open Space Conversations, and during our Announcements, you’ll hear updates from GFL and invitations to events coming up.

A: during beta, the league will be an assortment of games played week to week to show off your raw and amazing gaming talents

A: We provide tools and resources to help teams track their time and submit their volunteer hours seamlessly. You also share your hours with your employer, often HR can get you the correct link to log your hours to make an impact.

A: All proceeds from the league go directly to the Games For Love charity. The funds are used to enrich the lives of children around the world.

A: Yes, professionals can participate in both leagues, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

A: Yes, professionals can participate in solos, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

A: Absolutely! We can work with your partnerships team or CSR team to establish a path for you and your colleagues to participate

A: If you want to win, yes! Just know – even when you don’t win, kids in hospitals do – so your effort playing and having fun helped kids play and have fun too!

A: Yes, if it is considered a AAA title, or offers competitive and entertaining matches. Games are best for accessibility when free-to-play, but we can offer codes to players to play for free if you provide them.

A: It’s not a hard requirement, but it does spread awareness and sometimes fundraising from the love of the gaming community when you do! We recommend it.

A: As long as you are employed 20 hours per week+, are eligible to participate, you can participate.
