Mentoring in Games For Love’s Interns International Program only requires a few hours a week to meet with your cohort as a group, and then a monthly one-on-one for each of your mentees. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the bright adults and young adults that one day will be the future of the Tech, STEM, and Gaming industries. It’s a low commitment, but high-impact opportunity to volunteer and give back to not just “the” community, but “our” community.

If you are passionate about helping to give children an education in STEM from a young age, Kids Of Code Program is the right fit. Kids Of Code offers two distinct ways to learn; Our On-Demand classes, and Live-sessions. On-Demand classes are brought to children by video to give them an opportunity to learn whenever they would like to learn, on-demand through our Learning Management Software using our Curriculum. The Live-Session classes are scheduled with students to give them an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and interact with other students in a collaborative environment that is built to be fun and engaging.

Every once in a while staff at Games For Love is unable to physically visit a children’s hospital when they are in need of light troubleshooting in person. This is where Mentors come in to help us assist our national, and international facilities and their Child-Life teams to bring a local presence connected to a representative at Games For Love. We can connect if there is a local request at a facility near you.
