My Project: Hope & Empowerment
Our children’s hospital has thousands of children come through each and every month from diverse backgrounds and academic levels who thrive on hands-on learning and interactive experiences to get their minds off the pain and difficulties they face on adaily basis. In my wing, children are eager to learn, grow, play, and develop important academic and social skills. Traditional methods don’t always capture their attention. By incorporating distraction therapy into our routine, my children will have the opportunity to practice essential needs of normalization in a fun, relax, and engaging way.
